AN UPDATE ON OUR WORK DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Georgia Organics exists to connect organic food from Georgia farms to Georgia families.

This will not change during this pandemic.

During this time of separation, we will continue to work to create connection.

We are here to support farmers and restaurants and to provide information and resources that connect eaters to local, healthy food in safe ways.

Please stay tuned to Georgia Organics’ channels of communications – FacebookInstagramTwitter, and MailChimp. There, we will be sharing resources with people that care about farmers and good food during this uncertain time when our health and nutrition are of paramount importance.

In the spirit of fostering health and prevention in the wake of this pandemic, we’re having to make some big scheduling changes here at Georgia Organics. In the space below, we have listed events, trainings, and other gatherings that we are canceling or postponing through the end of April.  We are heartbroken to see these rich educational gatherings delayed, but we have made these choices at the urging of public health officials, with an abundance of caution, and with our goal ever-focused on community health. This list will be kept up-to-date.

As we speak, Georgia Organics is working closely with organizations such as Food Well Alliance, Community Farmers Markets, Global Growers, and more for ongoing conversations about how we can collaboratively and thoroughly support our farmers and their businesses with tactical market solutions. News of these collaborations will be linked here.

You will be hearing from us on safe ways to continue accessing the beautiful, nutrient-rich products from Georgia farmers and as we continue to share valuable resources being offered. Above all, we are focused on listening, organizing, and doing anything we can to continue to champion Georgia farmers and the health of Georgia families.
